Greetings and Salutations from Taiwan

Very sorry for the lack of blogging! i know i promised all of you that i would blog much more often than i have. my only excuse is that i haven't had constant internet long enough to upload photos and type something meaningful up. but i can also tell you that i've been keeping a journal and i plan to make a thorough entry once i finally do land in japan on thursday and settle down. so stay tuned.

Chapter I: Departure

Frantic, emotional, nonstop, butterflies, bittersweet, hopeful, anticipatory, anxious, confident.

Still packing, still thinking of things I may have forgotten, that I should buy, that I will kick myself later for forgetting. My trip has not even begun yet, and I'm already tired. I think I might have ran so many errands and packed so much that I had a fever last night, but I think I'm over it (hopefully).

So I guess I'm not very good at saying goodbye. Each time I said goodbye to a close friend, I guess it sounded more like goodbye than see you later. Well I'm sorry if I did that to you, that's not what I meant at all. I fully intend to keep in touch with everyone and anyone I can. I'm sure there will be a lot of downtime that I can use to update people on my travels. Thank you everyone for wishing me luck, being supportive and saying goodbye, I'll miss every single one of you.

Now I must continue to try to fit my life into two measly suitcases and a backpack. Sayonara!
