Frantic, emotional, nonstop, butterflies, bittersweet, hopeful, anticipatory, anxious, confident.
Still packing, still thinking of things I may have forgotten, that I should buy, that I will kick myself later for forgetting. My trip has not even begun yet, and I'm already tired. I think I might have ran so many errands and packed so much that I had a fever last night, but I think I'm over it (hopefully).
So I guess I'm not very good at saying goodbye. Each time I said goodbye to a close friend, I guess it sounded more like goodbye than see you later. Well I'm sorry if I did that to you, that's not what I meant at all. I fully intend to keep in touch with everyone and anyone I can. I'm sure there will be a lot of downtime that I can use to update people on my travels. Thank you everyone for wishing me luck, being supportive and saying goodbye, I'll miss every single one of you.
Now I must continue to try to fit my life into two measly suitcases and a backpack. Sayonara!
you should take pictures and post them in this blog :D START with a picture of you at the airport! then you on the plane. then you in the japan airport (or whatever asian country you are going to first). the possibilities are ENDLESS
ReplyDeletehahaha meltang's right.

ReplyDeletesry i missed your call earlier.. i was running errands at school >< and i realized that taiwan is 16 hours ahead... why are you calling me at 3 in the morning?!?!? but i will pay more attention to my phone today haha
i think you should make the picture on your blog smaller, so i don't have to scroll down to read.
ReplyDelete... :D
I haven't even read anything yet, but words cannot describe the sheer awesomeness of your blog banner. I don't even like using the word awesome, but I think that this picture warrants it. haha. I can just imagine you making it and flipping the picture of Japan upside-down. AMAZING.
ReplyDeletewe'll miss you eric! I'm sorry I wasn't able to say goodbye right before you left, but I'll just pretend that the kung fu panda goodbye was sufficient.
